About the Optometrist

Dr. Annette Lileyans has completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology at York University, followed by a Doctorate in Optometry at Pennsylvania College of Optometry. During her studies, Dr. Lileyans completed externships at Northeastern eye institute in Scranton PA, Braverman eye center at Miami Florida, Dr. Lennox Eye Center at St. Catharines ON and at The Vision Institute in Philadelphia PA. Dr. Lileyans received extensive training in the treatment and management of eye diseases, specialty contact lens fittings, pediatrics and low vision.

She is board certified by the Canadian Examiners in Optometry and in the use of Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents (TPA) in Canada. She is also accredited by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO), as well as the Treatment and Management of Ocular Diseases (TMOD) in the United States.

Her special interests are children’s vision, diseases of the eye and refractive laser surgery co-management.

Dr. Annette is also the recipient for ThreeBestRated’s award for being among Aurora’s top 3 pediatric optometrists in 2024.
